Right, we've been having a big group chat with several members on Steam so for those who aren't online, we're going ahead with a new site for the time being.
The server subscription PW was on is relatively cheap so we've no problem setting up a new account and paying for a new forum so that we have total control over it. I've paid for the first month pending whether anyone ever actually gets in touch with Dave, the host is processing payment at the moment so I'll post in here when the new forum is actually set up. It'll take me a short while to actually upload the phpbb template to the server and get a new forum configured as I'm away for the next couple of nights, so keep posting in here for the time being.
We decided to stick with the same name so as to preserve Prey's illustrious legacy. The new URL will be www.preysworld.com, same as old except without the hyphen. So keep an eye out and checking in on this place for further updates.
It's pretty amusing seeing so many people in group chat as PW teeters on the brink of apocalypse. But rest easy in your chairs chaps, PW will live on.
